
Skip Scarfone - Coach/Trainer
USSF/NTX National "D" License
Skip is a native of Dallas, Texas. He grew up playing soccer in the Dallas East Soccer Association and the Pleasant Grove Soccer Association. He played his competative club soccer with the Gunners Soccer Club and attended Bryan Adams High School, where he was a starter and a four year letterman for the varsity soccer program.
Skip has been involved in coaching youth soccer since he was 18 years old. Throughtout the years, Skip has attended numerous coaching clinics, seminars and camps receiving numerous coaching diplomas and awards. He has coached and trained for sebveral local clubs and has done individual skills training for "Bobby Moffat Summer Camps", "Smugers Soccer Camps" and many others.
Skip currently holds an USSF National "D" License and will be taking his "C" license in the summer of 2009. Also, he’s a grade 7 referee and is working towards his grade 6 state license.
He has been involved in the development of youth soccer players with other local clubs. Such as; Andromeda SC, Attack SC, and Inter SC. He has coached and trained boys and girls teams of all ages.
In 2002, Skip became the D’Feeters Samba Academy coordinator and head coach in charge of building the youth teams for the D’Feeters Soccer Club. Also, he’s the head coach of the Under 11 and Under 12 teams for the D’Feeters Soccer Club.
